Unicaf University Zimbabwe presented another free CV and Cover Letter Writing workshop, on the 14th of February, at its campus facilities in Harare. The event was the fourth free workshop organised by the University as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. Just like the previous three workshops, it was open to everyone interested to participate, regardless of age or educational background. The workshop attracted a large number of diverse attendees, from university students to professionals in or out of employment, to business owners and pensioners.
The aim of the workshop is to help recent graduates and other participants find employment, or secure a promotion by learning how to present their qualifications and talents in the best possible way in their CVs and how to write cover letters that can impress potential employers.
The event also included presentations about Unicaf University Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral degrees and professional training programmes, as well as information about the Unicaf Scholarship Programme, which makes studying with Unicaf University an affordable and flexible option for working professionals. Unicaf University student advisers answered questions about application and enrollment procedures, payment plans and the wide range of degree programmes on offer.
Workshop participants expressed their gratitude for this unique offer from Unicaf University and the hope that more free workshops will be organised on other topics soon.
