School graduates in Malawi have the opportunity to take computer lessons, totally free, at the state-of-the-art campus of the University in Lilongwe.
The computer lessons are offered to interested secondary school leavers 2017/18 as a way of giving back to the community, within the framework of the University’s programme of Corporate Social Responsibility. After an introduction into computers in the campus amphitheater, students have the opportunity to practice working on computers at the University’s computer lab.
The lucky school leavers taking the free computer lessons are excited about the training and the relevant certificate they receive, which not only enhances their CV, making them more employable, but also opens up for them the digital world and its infinite possibilities, including online delivery of higher education.
